Meet the team

Falmouth born and bred, Sam ensures the smooth day to day running of Ardent. Often out on the road checking in with the Ardent team and customers and ensuring our projects are delivered to the high standards we expect. Sam is amazing at finding new opportunities and is the ideas man, making him the perfect fit for working on our planning applications. Sam is often accompanied by Hugo, his fox red Labrador who is never far behind. Outside of Ardent, Sam is a keen sailor and is the Falmouth Working Boat sailing secretary and loves nothing more than enjoying the delights of Cornwall with his family and Hugo. 

Ben lives and breathes property. It’s a passion he transmits to the workplace and drives him to help people make the most of developing their homes and investments. Starting his residential career with one of London’s leading estate agencies, he went on to work in the commercial design and build sector in the city. Later, relocating to the South West to be closer to his family and hasn’t looked back since. Outside of the office you’ll most likely find Ben out on the water racing on the Falmouth Working Boats or cooking up a storm ahead of a Sunday roast with friends.

Tom is in charge of the general operation of Ardent, working alongside the company directors on Health and Safety, HR, building regulations and ensuring the day to day smooth running of both the head office and each of our sites to ensure they meet our high standards. As part of his role, Tom is also head of purchasing and making sure our sites are readily stocked with materials. He spends a lot of time on the phone to suppliers making sure we always get the best price and best value for our clients. Outside of work Tom loves spending his time walking around the Cornish coast with his camera in hand.

With 20 years experience in reception and administration roles, Donna works alongside the Ardent team in a variety of office based duties. Her friendly and warm manner will greet you, either face to face at the office or over the telephone. Donna prides herself on her organisational skills and happy to help attitude. In her free time, you will find her walking her red fox Labrador, Merlot, or grabbing an ice cream with her grandchildren.
